The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, just like the staff. Plus the patio is now open, making it the perfect spot for a summer night out with friends. The food at Kamoosh is insanely flavourful and perfectly curated. It was so fun to be able to see our meal being prepped in the kitchen, adding to the overall dining experience. The chefs hand-select ingredients from local farmers whenever possible, including their in-house butchered and cured meats, produce, and their own preserves. You can taste the freshness! For our celebratory dinner, we went all out with burrata, pasta dishes (still drooling), and dessert paired with coffee and cappuccino. It was truly a meal to remember, and I can't say enough good things about Kamoosh. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back! HISTORY OF THE RESTAURANT: Koosh Kahnamoui, the co-owner and executive chef, developed his passion for food from the fresh and intricate flavours in his mother and grandmother’s Persian kitchens. He discovered his love of Italian cuisine after moving to Canada in 1984 and pursued his dream of opening a restaurant, which came to fruition in 2009 with Koosh Bistro. Kamoosh Bistro is the newest venture from Koosh and his team of like-minded, professional, hardworking, and talented staff. They love what they do, and it shows. Their dedication to quality ingredients and supporting the global community is evident in everything they do.
